A 19-year-old college student, known as the “Adorable Drug Kingpin,” was indicted in College Station, Texas on Friday.
The infamous criminal was charged with four counts related to drug dealing: possession of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana with the intent to distribute and sell, according to reports.
Authorities say that at the time of her arrest, Furay had somewhere in between 5 to 200 grams of drugs on her. Officials also discovered incriminating texts on her cell phone, orchestrating drug deals.
Furay made headlines after her smiley-faced mug shot leaked, capturing her with an unusually wide grin, considering the situation. It’s a little unclear how an honor student was able to pull off a lucrative drug business, seeing how her father is a DEA agent, according to reports.
A trial date has not been set regarding the Adorable Drug Kingpin’s case, but she’s looking at between 2 to 20 years in state prison or a fine of $30,000.
