MOTHER AND BOYFRIEND CHARGED WITH INJECTING THREE CHILDREN WITH HEROIN

A young mother and her boyfriend have been charged with injecting her three children with heroin, or ‘sleeping juice’ as she described it to them.

Ashlee Hutt, 24, and Leeroy ‘Mac’ McIver, 25, are accused of plying with her two daughters and son (ages 2, 4, and 6) with the drug at their run-down home in Washington, the Daily Mail reports.

The children were found by police in a filthy house covered in rat droppings and needles after a complaint was filed by a friend of the couple.

When Child Protection Services arrived, they noticed scratches and bruises on the two-year-old girl’s body which alluded to the fact that she had been injected with heroin.

The oldest brother was then interviewed and described how the couple would ‘mix white powder with water’ and inject it into them.

He described how he was one given the drug, which they called ‘feel good medicine’ or ‘sleeping juice’ after being choked by McIver.

Both suspects were arrested on November 12, 2015 when the police visited their home, and they both remain in custody after being called to court to answer to their criminal charges.

Hutt and McIver are both charged with three counts of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance to a minor, second-degree criminal mistreatment, and second-degree child assault.

A final heartbreaking detail was revealed after finding that just two years ago, Hutt posted a photo of a child who had died after drinking the water from a drug bong, and celebrated the jailing of his mother.

The saddening post shows just how fast heroin goes to work on the brain, completely changing the way a person thinks about life.

In that post, Hutt wrote: “Finally justice for you. It’s heart breaking that you had to lose your life due to the state not listening. This never would’ve happened if you were with your father or family that actually cared for you.”

The children were removed six months after the CPS launched an investigation into their care, and they are all now living in foster homes.
