Especially if you’re known to get into a few bust-ups while playing the game.
No, it’s not the number for the doctors.
Rather it’s your very own Christmas hotline dedicated to preventing board game bust-ups over the festive period.
The helpline was launched following a survey which found that 51% of Monopoly games end in a row.
The most common arguments were due to people ‘making up the rules as they go along’.
Up there on the list of reasons why Monopoly games ended badly were smug players gloating about their good fortune.
The hotline will open from December 24 to 26 and will be available to provide mediation if families get into game-based arguments.

Craig Wilkins, Marketing Director of Hasbro UK & Ireland said: ‘We’ll have experts on hand with the official rule books to instantly settle any disputes, and advice on how to resolve common complaints, with each person also having the opportunity to make a donation to Child line when they call.’
The poll revealed the extent to which the bust-ups have gone, with one parent recalling the time their 14-year-old son threw the board across the room before slamming the door and going to bed at 7pm.
As well as the number of people who cheat during the game – 13%.
The Monopoly Hotline is prepared to receive a flood of calls from 6pm on Christmas day as this is the most common time for families to have an argument.
