A northern Virginia mom called police during Thanksgiving weekend, when she went to check on her sleeping child and instead discovered a naked man in the bedroom.
Several reports say that police from the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 30-year-old Bijan L. Roy.
According to the Associated Press, on Thanksgiving weekend, the unnamed mother went upstairs to check on her sleeping child, when she found Roy fast asleep in her child’s bed.
Authorities say that Roy was extremely intoxicated when the terrified mother walked in on him.
Once the mother realized that Roy was completely naked, she ran from the room, called 911, and waited for police to arrive.
Roy was reportedly still asleep in the child’s bed when they walked inside the house and arrested him.
As ABC 7 reports, investigators now believe that Roy was drunk and confused when he broke into the child’s bedroom, thinking he was in his own house.
Police have not revealed whether or not the child was actually in the bed when Roy broke into the bedroom.
Since the arrest last Thursday, Roy has been charged with burglary, indecent exposure, and possession of narcotics.
