Mentor Psychic Indicted For $1.5 Million Theft

Forty-one year old Gina Miller has been indicted by a Lake County Grand Jury. Miller is accused of bilking $1.5 million dollars from her clients, including cars, jewelry, appliances, electronics, fashion wear, and gift cards.

Mentor Police claim Miller convinced clients that bad things were due to happen to them or their families if they did not turn over their goods as payment. She’s free on $150,000 bond, but could get up to 34 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

Investigators contend the crimes took place at Gina’s Psychic Studio on Mentor Avenue from 2001 to 2015.

Chuck Dague owns the “Twisted Heads” smoke shop next door, and says Miller was always trying to make deals, but says he wasn’t interested, and doesn’t believe in psychics. Karen Martin owns the “Say Yes to Her Dress” fashion shop nearby, and saw Miller frequently and seemed to be friendly. However, Martin says she declined Miller’s offer to perform psychic readings.

Dague and Miller admit being suspicious because there seemed to be people living in the studio, and Miller was often seen driving different high-end vehicles.

Gina Miller is free on $150,000 bond, but could get up to 34 years in prison if convicted.
